About Noble Governance

Our Founding Story

Noble Governance was founded by Ann Johnson and fills a need many social impact organizations have—for a highly experienced and educated business partner to help develop systems, skills, and mindsets that tie visions, strategy, operations, and financials together into a cohesive whole.

Ann's career began at Partners In Health in Boston, MA, where she learned how effective the private sector can be in responding to social and environmental challenges. As her career progressed through other social impact organizations, she came to understand their unique position to transform our world for the better, and developed a passion for helping them succeed using sound operational infrastructure practices.

Ann is a consilient thinker, decision-maker, cross-functional leader and implementer. Her work is at once creative and standardized, which allows organizations to thrive uniquely and sustainably.

Qualifications:

• Twenty years’ experience in operational and leadership roles in both nonprofit and for-profit companies

• Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN

• Executive MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN
